History of Kosbrunn
Kosbrunn looks back on a long history, first mentioned in the 14th century.
- 1323: First official documentation under the name 'Kaczprunne'.
- 1833: Described as a hamlet with 11 houses and 68 inhabitants, with the ruins of Wernberg Castle visible.
- 1972: Incorporation into the town of Pegnitz as part of the municipal reform.
- 2010: Comprehensive village renewal with an investment of approximately 500,000 Euros. The village center was modernized, the community center built, and the chapel renovated.
